Ontario's
South Coast Bed & Breakfast Association invites you
to visit the counties of Haldimand and Norfolk on the shore of Lake
Erie where you can enjoy a diverse vacation experience. Located about
1-2 hours from Toronto, Niagara Falls, London, and Kitchener-Waterloo,
you will find friendly people and picturesque vistas. The many little
ports along the shore are simply charming.
Our area is
rich in many ways. With a moderate climate, our landscape is very
rural with many small towns that are quaint and historic. The Carolinian
forests are unique to this part of Ontario. Long Point is a world
biosphere and the Grand River has been designated a Canadian Heritage
River. Ontario's South Coast with its rich soils and warm sunshine
produces an abundance of agricultural products. The beautiful beaches
stretch all along the shoreline.
Visit
the many heritage sites, galleries, unique museums, shops and restaurants.
Outdoor activities include hiking our beautifully wooded trails,
cycling and bird watching. Test your skills on the many challenging
golf courses. You are invited to swim, boat, fish and scuba dive
in our gorgeous lake that lends itself so well to all these pursuits.
Join in the many festivals taking place throughout the year and
enjoy professional theatre at the Lighthouse Festival Theatre.
